Location
Camp Ole' (closed) was located in the Sierra Madre mountains of central Spain. The main campsite was in the Andujar Valley which is surrounded by one of Spain's largest natural forests. The swimming area was a river that ran adjacent to the camp.
FacilitiesMeals were provided by skilled military food service personnel in a field kitchen and dining tent. A medic was on duty throughout the camp period. Troop campsites, tents, and pure water were provided. Campers were required to bring their own personal camping, sleeping and eating gear.
ProgramAll the traditional Scouting programs plus many new features made Summer Camp in Spain a high adventure in a Scout's camping experience in Europe. Special emphasis is placed on advancement. Hiking and overnight camps were another feature of Camp Ole'.
